Speaking with TVJ’s Entertainment Prime, Shane Brown says he was shocked and hurt by Busy Signal’s decision.

“Basically Busy Signal let his brother called me and say from now on the business is a family business, so his brother is going to fly down from Connecticut and he is going to be responsible for the managementnow,” Shane Brown said.
“Busy Signal explanation to me is that he is getting older and he wants to create his own label and his own company and he wants his company to manage him… and where is career is right now he and his family could take it from there,” Brown added.

Shane Brown also noted that there is no bad blood between the two.

“There is no quarreling or np vibes so I just say okay let me leave it alone… personally this is from 2007 and I feel hurt,” Shane Brown explain.

Shane Brown, who is also a producer, is the head of Juke Boxx Records, the label behind a lot of Busy Signal hits.

The inventor of Microsoft has turned his attention in a much different direction!

The Gates Foundation is offering one inventor $100,000 to improve one of life's most recognizable products: the condom.

The task has been set forth through the Grand Challenges in Global Health Program and applications go until May for a 'Next Generation Condom that significantly preserves or enhances pleasure, in order to improve uptake and regular use.'

Recently 'Forbes' Magazine declared Gates the second wealthiest person on the planet with an estimated net worth of $67 billion

The Gates Foundation estimates that 15 billion units are sold during a year with 750 million people using condoms worldwide

Since 2008 more than 800 grants have been awarded to fifty countries.

They have been as far-reaching as finding a cure for HIV to using a microwave frequency to combat Malaria.

Many philanthropists have praised the Gates Foundation for targeting specific scientific or medical goals that achieve results.

In summarizing the rationale for the 'Next Generation Condom,' the grant-givers note that there has not been much innovation in the field.

'Condoms have been in use for about 400 years yet they have undergone very little technological improvement in the past 50 years.'

The benefits of using a condom are numerous. In addition to preventing pregnancy or STDs, condoms are relatively inexpensive.

However, the Foundation recognizes not everyone is going to see the upside towards protection.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is one of the most respected philanthropic organizations in the world and strives to cure diseases such as Malaria and HIV

'The primary drawback from the male perspective is that condoms decrease pleasure as compared to no condom, creating a trade-off that many men find unacceptable, particularly given that the decisions about use must be made just prior to intercourse. Is it possible to develop a product without this stigma, or better, one that is felt to enhance pleasure?'

Applications are currently being accepted for this eleventh round but not every proposal will be considered for the prize.

For example, the Gates Foundation will not be funding any plans that include 'exclusively non-technological, social, or educational intervention,' or 'concepts that would sacrifice the value of condoms for prevention of either unplanned pregnancy or HIV infection,' among other requirements.

The Gates Foundation is asking anyone to think beyond the box (or the rubber). 'What if we could develop one that was preferred to no condom?'

Would-be inventors who don't have a clue how to improve a condom have other avenues for working with the Gates Foundation, however.
Other topics that the Grand Challenges in Global Health are looking for include a 'One Health' concept that would combine human and veterinary medicine and 'increasing interoperability of social good data.'

A man has had a Phillips screwdriver surgically removed from his head after slipping face first onto it.
The 25-year-old man from Poland was doing some DIY in the garden when the freak accident happened.
He fell with such force the tool was wedged 5cm into his forehead, narrowly missing his brain.

Detecting a strange object near his eye, the man - who has chosen not to reveal his identity - took a look in his car mirror when he noticed the screwdriver lodged in his head.
But bizarrely he chose to have a cigarette before asking his neighbour to take him to hospital.

It took doctors at University Hospital in Bialystok three hours to remove the implement from his head which narrowly missed his vital organs.
And remarkable he now well on his way to making a full recovery.

China suing Grenada

ST GEORGE'S, Grenada, Thursday March 7, 2013 – According to reports in the New York Post, China’s Export-Import Bank filed a lawsuit in a New York federal court on Monday (March 4) to recover outstanding monies owed to it. 

The lawsuit is reportedly over an unpaid judgment worth US$32 million against Grenada, which the Chinese state-controlled bank is still trying to recover. 

In February last year, the Grenada airport was almost crippled when Taiwan’s Export-Import Bank started to garnish millions of dollars in airline landing fees to aid it in recovering US$25 million in outstanding loan payments awarded to it by a New York court. 

Although China’s Export-Import Bank did not restructure its Grenada claims when others did in 2005 and 2006 when other creditors agreed to take big ‘haircuts’ on the debts owed to them, the bank is reportedly now using the “equal treatment” legal argument pioneered by Paul Singer’s Elliott Management against Argentina to argue that Grenada must pay it each time the country makes a payment to creditors. 

However, analysts are saying that Grenada is likely to default on its debt again soon, which could complicate China’s attempts at recovering its debt. 

Grenada has paid more than US$43 million to the other creditors since its last default, but the New York Post quotes emerging market debt hedge fund manager Hans Humes as saying that the Caribbean island is likely to miss its next coupon payment, which is due next Friday (March 15).   Click here to receive free news bulletins via email from Caribbean360. (View sample)

A man attempts to put out a fire after a house was firebombed on Tuesday night.

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, Wednesday March 6, 2013 – National Security Minister Austin “Jack” Warner, warning that “no one area should hold this country to ransom,” is promising to intensify security in the volatile Laventille area after several homes were destroyed by fire bombs over the past few days as rival gangs continue their turf war.
“The bulk of the murders in the country, 41 per cent of the murders in the country is taking place in one particular area, so one area of the country literally is holding the country to ransom and I go forward to say one small group of men is doing that.
“That is why we have to intensify what we are doing and you will hear, you will read that we are carrying out an exercise in Laventille from today until Monday which will be unprecedented,” Warner said.
More than 100 police officers have already moved into the Laventille area, along the east-west corridor, after several homes and businesses were firebombed over the past 72 hours.
Police say two more houses were destroyed on Tuesday night and are bracing for even more reprisals as the gangs battle each other.
Parliamentary representative for the area, Marlene McDougal told reporters that she has “never seen this type of behaviour on my constituency.
‘This is the first time I have seen this deviant type of behaviour,” she said, adding that the “war’ is taking place between gangs separated by a street in the area.
“It pains me to see what is happening,” she added.

A woman was mauled to death by a lion as she made love to her boyfriend outdoors in Zimbabwe, it was reported today.

Sharai Mawera died yesterday after the big cat pounced while she was enjoying a romantic moment in the bush with her unnamed partner.

The My Zimbabwe news website reported that the predator attacked the couple at a secluded spot in the bush near the northern town of Kariba.

Ms Mawera's boyfriend, who has not been identified, is believed to have jumped up and fled in the nude when the lion lunged forward.

A source told the newspaper the young woman died at the scene.
He said: 'Unfortunately the woman was mauled to death by the lion, but her boyfriend managed to escape naked.'
A friend of the couple told My Zimbabwe Ms Mawera had worked at the local market and that her partner was a fisherman
The friend said: 'He is a fisherman and he used to often meet at the same spot with his girlfriend, who is now deceased.
'The two were romping when the incident occurred. The lion came from behind and roared.

'The guy managed to escape before stopping at a distance where he witnessed his companion being attacked.

'He later rushed to the road seeking help.'

Local police and armed rangers from the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority rushed to the scene.

The source said: 'Cops and officers attended the scene and fired a single shot before getting to the spot.

'The woman had already been killed. She had bloody bruises all over her body. Her neck and tummy had been mauled.'

Rangers launched a hunt for the lion following the tragedy, amid concern the same animal may have killed a local man who disappeared at the weekend.

The remains of the victim were found yesterday on the outskirts of the town,which lies near the Zambezi river.

Police believe the man, who has not been named, was mauled by a lion as he walked home from a nightclub.

Zimbabwe's state-controlled Herald newspaper reported that officers believed the fact the woman killed yesterday was mauled rather than eaten suggested the same lion could have been responsible for both attacks and not regained its appetite since devouring part of its first victim.

The newspaper added: 'Residents of the town are now living in fear as the lions are still roaming freely as there are yet to be caught.'

More proof that the american sports world is a mess. You’ve heard some words from Incarcerated Bob on twitter saying that some more names were linked with the whole scandal that rocked the world earlier this year, A Rod being the biggest of them all. But before getting to the dirty part, let’s put up a little background story. Introducing first our guest on the line : Jessica. She had been introduced to Anthony Bosch by mutual friends before beginning to work for him from April 2010 to February 2012 as an assistant before leaving the company. She was in charge of keeping track of pretty much every financial transfer in Bosch’s clinic. And, rightfully so, she contacted Incarcerated Bob to let the world know what she saw while working at this alleged "PED's" clinic.

Here’s some details about the things she kept track of :

Incarcerated Bob : What names stood out to you ?
Jessica : LJ, JN, Francisco, Cruz ..
Incarcerated Bob : These were the name that you just had and were told to put in the books ?
Jessica : Yes.
Incarcerated Bob : How did that work, money would come in ? Did Mr Bosch tell you to put some initials in the books ?
Jessica : Yes. Like LJ, someone named Mr Paul would come in and Mr Bosch would give a check to put in the book LJ as being “payed for the month”.

Our guest added later that this Mr Paul came every month, once a month, taking products for LJ. She told IBN Sports Wrap that Mr Paul was a friend of LeBron James and what we know for sure is that one of LJB’s closest friend's AND agent is Rich Paul. She also pointed out that some of her coworkers were 100% sure that Lebron James was a client of the instute and was the LJ in question. But here are more details :

Answering a question from Incarcerated Bob, the former Biogenesis bookkeeper told IBN that she was instructed to destroy all the files when the investigations began on Mr Bosch’s clinic and our guest had been explicitly asked to erase the initials and the name (JN, LJ, Francisco ..) from files/bookkeeping logs.
In my view too many things add up for this to be a coincidence , we have a smoking gun who physically saw one NBA star (Jameer Nelson) and who saw a Mr. Paul make payments for someone who had the initials L.J. -- Meanwhile the best friend for (Lebron James) is non other than Rich Paul.. Something smells real fishy in South Beach and it's not those late night Miami escorts. The NBA clearly has a steroid problem and the biggest superstar in the game looks involved. Fans deserve a thorough investigation and possibly future testing league wide.
